Overflow Kids Church

Our heart is that your kids would love their church and that we would help them to connect with others and with their God. Our belief is that God can be discovered and encountered no matter how old someone is; our age-specific ministries support and encourage this for your children.

For us there is no greater joy than to see you coming as a family every week to discover, connect with and encounter Christ and all He has for you and your children.

Overflow Kids takes place on Sundays and is part of our Sunday gatherings.

Voltage Youth

We see youth who have found their purpose in life – something to give themselves for! At a stage of life with so many voices trying to influence their decisions, Voltage exists to create a space where young people can feel accepted and safe that leads to God encounters  that transforms their lives!

Voltage meets every Sunday at the C3 Building 6.30-8.00pm. Contact Daniel West on 0437 503 771 for more details, or click here to go to the Voltage Facebook page for upcoming events.

Everywoman was birthed out of a desire to see women arise and become all that God has destined them to be through teaching, celebrating and modeling the principles that God has given us to flourish in life! Everywoman is multi-generational and is a ministry that equips and empowers every woman to live the life that God has called her to live.

Real Men

Real Men is designed to build better men by developing character, strengthening marriages and families, shaping appropriate perspectives, breaking destructive lifestyles, valuing healthy relationships, and establishing positive role models.

This is done initially through providing men an opportunity to just simply meet and hang together – its amazing what can take place while connecting over food and a drink in a ‘safe and friendly environment’.

Realmen meet the first Friday of every month at 7:30pm at 42 Shannon Drive, Squeaking Point.

Message Ron Kamphuis via Facebook for further details.

Devonport Chaplaincy

Devonport Chaplaincy is an initiative of the Churches of Devonport (DCLA).

It is one of the ways we serve together to impact future generations and our local community. This involvement has been through providing mentors to the available programs as listed on the site. Click here to visit DCLA’s website.

Devonport Chaplaincy is the local church in action. Our commitment is to serving our schools by establishing holistic support and care for students and their families through our chaplains and volunteer networks. For more information, visit www.devonportchaplaincy.org.au

Just one hour a week can change a life. Provides a student with a caring, supportive relationship to help them through school. Enabling them to be better equipped for further education and future employment. The long-term benefits of this are so significant.
50 hours that matter. The Easy P’s Learner Driver Mentor program helps students of the Devonport region and/or their parents or guardians, obtain their provisional driver’s license, where they would otherwise have no access to a suitable vehicle or their own supervisory driver.
Preparing Grade Six kids to lead the way. This exciting initiative is a partnership between Devonport Chaplaincy and Camp Clayton. It is a one day Leadership Intensive that is provided to all grade 6 students in the Devonport region. The intensive helps all participants improve their physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual health as well as the opportunity to establish and develop necessary life leadership skills.
70 Minutes that can change a future. You will work one to one with a student helping them specifically to be work ready. Many at risk students experience major obstacles that place them behind the mark when it comes to functioning in the workplace.
Encouraging outstanding performance in the classroom. As a tutor, you provide support to young people who are facing learning difficulties. Given that the Support 2 Learn program is different to other tutoring programs it ensures that the foundation is about relationship.
Equipping for Success All of our mentoring streams use the same training philosophy, which ensures mentors are adequately equipped around the important value of relationship. In society many skills are overlooked in life’s hectic pace.

The Princess Project

Impoverished Cambodian children walk the streets day and night, rummaging through rubbish bins, collecting recyclable items to sell. These children are at risk of being enticed or forced into the sex industry. The purpose of the Princess Project is to prevent children from being trafficked and prevent sexual violence against vulnerable women & children.

They do this by enrolling them in school, keeping them off the streets, ensuring they have safe accommodation, food, water and medical care. The project also helps their siblings and provides free vocational training for their parent or guardian, enabling the whole family to be lifted up and out of poverty.

Each year we financially support the project and send a group of people to serve on the ground in Cambodia. If you would like to know more about this please get in touch Ps Sharon Webber.

For more information on the project or to make a donation, head over to www.princessproject.com.au

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
