Connect groups
Doing life together beyond Sunday.

We believe in bringing connection, care, and personal support to everyone. One of the best ways to get connected is being part of a Connect Group. It’s a chance to socialise, have a cuppa, read the word, pray and simply do life together! They are designed to be fun and welcoming, creating a space for meaningful conversation in a casual environment. We have a range of groups that cater to different ages and stages of life. These groups run fortnightly over different days and times. You can chat to us at our weekly Sunday services about finding the right group for you, or send us an email by clicking the button below.

Baptism
Why be baptised by immersion?

At C3 Church we practise baptism by immersion, as we believe that this was the practice of the early church (as recorded in Matthew 3:16, John 3:23, Acts 8:38-39).

The English word ‘baptism’ comes from the New Testament Greek word, “Baptizo”, which means, “to immerse or dip under water.” When we are immersed under the water, we are cleansed and rebirthed into a new creation by the Holy Spirit, and represented through the raising up from the water.

"Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptised by you, and do you come to me?" Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Matthew 3:13-17
